The Communist Party of China (CPC), founded in July 1921, today has more than 60 million members. Vice President Hu Jintao, succeeded Jiang Zemin in November 2002, is the current general secretary of the CPC Central Committee.

At present, the Chinese people, led by the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Hu Jintao at the core, work hard to achieve the great programs. The Communist Party of China leads the people in developing national economy and at the same time building the society with advanced culture and ethics.
