China Post is scheduled to issue a set of 1 commemorative stamp themed "Martyr's Memorial Day" on September 30, 2024. The stamp is titled Martyr's Memorial Day with a face value of 1.20 yuan. The planned issuance quantity is 6.25 million sets.

Since modern times, countless heroes have laid down their lives for striving for national independence, people's freedom and happiness, and national prosperity and strength. The meritorious deeds of martyrs are inscribed in history, and their spirit is immortal. To carry forward the spirit of martyrs, cherish the memory of their contributions, cultivate citizens' patriotic spirit, collectivism, and socialist morality, foster and practice core socialist values, enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nation, and inspire strong spiritual power for realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation, the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress decided at its 10th meeting to designate September 30 as Martyr's Memorial Day. On September 30 every year, the state holds activities to commemorate martyrs.

With the Monument to the People's Heroes as the main subject, the stamp integrates the spirit of the important instruction of "upholding heroes and cherishing the memory of martyrs", supplemented by elements such as white doves, distant mountains, and rays of light, expressing profound remembrance and high respect for martyrs. The overall design is concise, simple and solemn, conveying the profound connotation of "the light of ideals never fades, and the light of faith never dies". The "double engraving on one plate" process design complements the stamp design: the towering "Monument to the People's Heroes" on the stamp is crafted with black engraving, presenting a solemn and elegant picture; the text "Cherish the Memory of Martyrs and Uphold Heroes" and the border-decorated monument are made with gold engraving, which not only sets off the main subject of the stamp but also enriches the overall layout effect of the stamp.

This set of stamps is designed by Hao Ou and Yu Qiuyan, with Li Jinwei as the responsible editor, and printed by Beijing Stamp Printing Co., Ltd. using combined offset and engraving printing technology.
